If you are a pupil and want to take part in the Pix Programming Challenge UK, you must set up an account through the free PixBlocks application. You can also ask your teacher to provide you with login details.

After logging into your account, click the ‘Pix Programming Challenge’ button. After completing the registration form, you will receive an access to competition tasks.

Below you can find a video  showing how to set up an account in the PixBlocks application and how to join the Challenge:

Remember that if your account is not linked with a class created by your teacher – it will be considered as an individual one, thus we will not provide information about your school when publishing the results. If you want us to provide the school details – join the class created by your teacher. To do so, go to the User Options and enter the Class Code. You can obtain the Class Code from you teacher.

Watch a video on how to join the class.

TEACHER

If you are a teacher and you want your students to take part in the Pix Programming Challenge UK, you must set up an account through the PixBlocks application. Below there is a video on how to set up a teacher’s account.

After logging into your account, create a virtual classroom in the Teacher Panel and add pupils to it. This way, you enable the creation of accounts for pupils, who do not have their accounts set up yet. Watch a video on how to do so.

If your students had registered their own accounts already – you can still add them to your class. Each of the classes you have created has a Class Code. If you want a student who created an account, to be in your class – provide the student with the code. Students in their accounts have the option to join a class.

Only participants whose accounts are linked with the class, will be considered as school representatives.
